Thank you for finding Paloma Elementary Physical Education on our website!

Physical Education at Paloma exists to teach our students to do the following:

1. Value physical activity and build a foundation for lifelong fitness.
2. Perform skills that allow them many opportunities to enjoy being active..
3. Demonstrate knowledge of fitness concepts, basic physiology (heart, lungs, muscles) and sports.
4. Exhibit a team-first mentality by making each other successful in cooperative games and activities.

Research shows that motor skill development is tied to neural development, and that children who learn a variety of movement skills perform better in the classroom. Therefore students are making their education more complete by engaging in quality physical education… in addition to having tons of fun!
